At Empire Barber School, we understand that everyone’s financial situation is unique. Don’t be discouraged if the standard payment plans don’t work for you. We encourage you to come in and speak with Jesse Rae. We are committed to working with you to find a plan that fits your individual needs and helps you achieve your goals.

1. Barber Program:

• Tuition: $11,000 (for 1,200 instructional hours)
• Supplies/Textbooks/Workbooks/Barber Kit/Other: $2,500
• Registration Fee: $100 (Non-Refundable included in the deposit)
• Total Charges (if paid in full): $13,500

Payment Plan:

• Upfront Payment: $2,500
• Monthly Payments: Ten payments of $1,300 each
• Note: Total charges with the payment plan amount to $1,300. All fees must be paid in full before graduation and receiving the certificate of completion.

2. Cosmetology Crossover Program:

• Tuition: $3,365 (for 200 instructional hours)
• Supplies/Textbooks/Workbooks/Barber Kit/Other: $1,635
• Registration Fee: $100 (Non-Refundable)
• Total Charges (if paid in full): $5,000

Payment Plan:

• Upfront Payment: $2,500
• Two Monthly Payments: $1,250 each
• Note: Total charges with the payment plan amount to $6,000. All fees must be paid in full before graduation and receiving the certificate of completion.

3. Instructor Program:

• Tuition: $3,208 + $550 deposit needed to set you up into our program. This does not go towards tuition. TOTAL = $3758
• Duration: 350 instructional hours

Payment Schedule:

• Payments are due on the 1st of each month following the initial payment or deposit.

Other Fees:

• Arizona State Examination for Barbering: $143 (subject to change by the State of Arizona)

Method of Payment:

• Payments can be made by cash, money order, or check. A $35 fee applies for returned checks, and a $35 late fee will be charged if tuition is not paid by the 3rd business day. All school charges must be settled before graduation.

Graduation Requirements:

• Barber Program: Complete 1,200 hours of instruction. Satisfy all program requirements including tests, practical hours, and client services. A diploma will be awarded upon completion, but a barber license requires passing the State Board Barber Exam with a score of 80% or higher on both practical and written exams.
• Cosmetology Crossover Program: Complete 200 hours of instruction. Meet all program requirements and pass the final exam with a satisfactory grade (80% or higher). Students must also pass the State Board Barber Exam to obtain their license.
• Instructor Program: Complete 350 hours of instruction. Meet all program requirements and pass the final exam with a satisfactory grade (80% or higher). Students must also pass the State Board Barber Exam to obtain their license.
